Goodbye, Farewell and Amen...

I think in the long run if I had to pick a favorite TV show of all time it would be M*A*S*H (specially the Col. Potter/Charles Emerson Winchester years)but eventually it - no matter how good it was came to an end...sometimes you just have to know when the time is right - BUT...

...For every ending there is a new beginning...

I'm a big fan of Col. Potter & Winchester myself, but there was something funny about Parrottface, uh, I mean, Frank Burns. And I always liked when Col. Flagg (the inept CIA agent) and the subtle humor of Sidney Freedman.

I think it was ferritface, not parrotface, though I can see where you might think that.... as to the rest "Everyone take my advice. Take off your pants and slid on the ice!"

All in the Family and M*A*S*H are my top two of all time....

I loved M*A*S*H during the Trapper John years. BJ was okay, but like All in the Family as the 70's ended both shows became too tame.

Heh. You should see my post on "24"...

Anyway, I loved Col. Flagg, too.

Interesting trivia fact... the actor who played Sydney Freidman, the psychiatrist, was Allan Arbus... Diane Arbus, the photographer, was married to him before her suicide.
