could someone PLEASE tell me how I can shrink the space my actual text takes up so that people can see my background pic?

I want to make the body of the page smaller and off to the left. is that even possible?

under 'your settings', 'manage accounts', then 'customize journal'..

under 'choose style system', pick 'new system (s2)'

towards the bottom of the customize journal page, you'll have the option to click 'edit customizations' and you can play around from there.

and actually, you could just change it so only one entry appears on your main journal page, and that could help make the background more visible too. I don't know if you can make the box the entry is in any smaller through the edit customizations page, but I haven't tried looking. You could at least do the one entry thing.

well, I knew both of those things, but look at julie's journal. it is both small and off to the side.
