The morning started off just perfect. But just perfect we mean that a certain innocent doctor woke with a distinctly less than innocent expression in his dark eyes. Seems he'd been having a very nice dream... a very nice dream indeed and Aziraphale was on the receiving end of some vigerous morning loving.
That also spilled into the shower as well!
Sundays were generally quiet days in the Brownstone, some Sundays passed without Aziraphale or Wilson making so much as a peep at each other as they simply moved through the day, sharing household chores, Sunday crossword puzzles and the quiet joy of companionship. However, with Kiki and Jiji added to the mix, it was unlikely the day would be silent! But this was a good thing, a change both the angel and the young doctor embraced, joyful at having their adopted ward with them once again.
Wilson put the offer out to Kiki to add her clothes to his regular laundry rotation, though it was an easy sort of thing that left her room to politely decline if she wished to...ah...well sometimes you just want to do your laundry yourself!
Sunday brunch, however...was one of Wilson's true pleasures and after thoroughly debauching himself with Aziraphale for a few hours, the young doctor set out to lay down a full Sunday meal.
The first step in the brunch was tea. The second was
Mimosas of course with one being made for Kiki, without Wilson so much as batting an eyelash. From there, we have
Banana and pecan buttermilk pancakes with maple butter and butter pecan syrup which complimented the bacon and sausage links he also prepared.
There was also a serving of a decadent
Lobster Eggs Benedict and Canadian bacon.
Two Sunday papers were spread out on the table in the kitchen along with juice and Wilson also made a pot of coffee, just because Eggs Benedict screamed coffee to him. After surveying the meal, he tapped his lips and with a grin and a quick review of what he had in the house, Wilson added a
Fresh Ginger Fruit Salad to the mix, just to give them all a nice balance of fruit with their meal.
Settling down in his usual spot, the young doctor waited for the scents to fill the house and bring down the rest of the inhabitants.
