Some days I can't wait for my time in this building, this East Wing office to be over.

Other days I feel like I haven't accomplished nearly enough. I know I haven't.

And still other days I can't believe it's almost over...

You think too much.

I know, dear, I know.
But when you come to be my age it tends to come with the territory.

Though I wholeheartedly understand your frustration in your lack of stasis, my dearest Abigail, I for one will be most disappointed to see you go. I rather relish the proximity of your magnificent bosom.

Well, thank you John. But some good things must come to an end.

I'm slowly realizing that we never feel as though we've accomplished enough.

I assume you'll be going back to Manchester after all this is over, and while I realize almost a year is a pretty long time, I'd love the chance to get lunch with you before that happens.

I think you're right. We've literally worked our asses off for 7 years, and it will never feel like enough, but we've tried.

Lunch-definitely. I'm sorry that we haven't managed to get there yet. How are you feeling?

At some point, I imagine I'll be able to look back on my life and feel like I've done something as opposed to feeling as though I have so much left to do.

How are you feeling?

Huge? I have yet to figure out how I'm supposed to answer that one, and I've discovered it's a question pregnant women are asked fairly regularly.

It's alright if you don't know how you feel. Huge isn't a feeling you should be ashamed of either. Pregnancy is certainly the largest thing that throws everything out of wack.

The power to accomplish may diminish once the President is out of office, but it doesn't vanish completely. You're a public figure, you're well-spoken, and brilliant. You can still make changes - and I for one can't wait to see you do it.

Thank you Danny, thank you. I really appreciate your saying that, I look forward to the things that I still can accomplish, no matter if I'm living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. or not.

Most importantly though, don't you forget the things that you have accomplished and the things that you still have to accomplish. Maybe when it comes time for me to write that book, you can further show the world the caliber of your talent.

It would be an honour, ma'am.

And please, let the President know that as well; in case he ever decides to put his presidency on paper, I'd be honoured if he'd consider me.
