Quietly. "I never told anyone. There was no reason to. Though why you would be embarrassed about something like that is somewhat beyond me."

"Thanks." She can feel the blush forming in her cheeks. "It's . . . I don't know. Nevermind."

He frowns, tilting his head to study her reaction, puzzled. "Bonnie?"

"I don't know, Kitt. I guess maybe it's just the double standard, but I wouldn't want Devon or Michael to know that it was even a possibility." She brushes her hair back from her face.
