A personal comment of sorts
Since divesting myself of TV three years ago, and not watching much before that, I honestly haven't followed professional football much. I couldn't really tell you who won the last few Super Bowls, or much of anything else about the last few seasons. I mean, I enjoy watching a good game as much as anyone, but it's not something I concern myself

I hate football.
Actually, that's not true anymore. I have a marked indifference to football.
I don't actually LIKE watching the games.
But I am extremely interested in who wins this superbowl.
I think I might actually watch it. I actually WANT to watch it. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself.

Last night we watched the Superbowl to see who won. We used the Tivo triple speed to skim past the irrelevant parts. Google. No contest. Far and away the best commercial of the year.
Watching The Who play the theme songs to all of the CSI shows was nice, too. ;^)
