Right. So.
My sister has been doing her unique blend of Irish-Cajun-worldbeat-progrock-singer-songwriter music (what she calls "Heavy Wood") for many years now. But of late, she's started taking things in a different direction: she's started a project called the Potent Bathers (an anagram for her name, Beth Patterson). Check these out:

I confess I don't know your sister's name to look her up individually, but I notice that Potent Bathers aren't currently listed in the world's biggest music marketing database.* Would she like an album or three added? I know a trick that I think would get it bumped closer to the head of the to-be-data-entered line than random outside submissions.
I can't promise that would automagically have retailers all over the planet listing her albums in their online catalogs. But, at least, it would put her stuff in the data feed they're getting anyway.
* The point of being listed isn't in being on that semi-lame web site. The point is instant entry into the databases of our customers.

That said, I'm sure she'd be glad of a boost -- let me know what information you need from me, and I'll pass it along when I get it. Thanks a lot!

Anyone who wants, can send in an album per these instructions, and we'll get around to entering their album in a month or two. However, if an employee walks in and offers something out of his or her personal collection, they try to get it through everything and back that day or the next day. The three or four (or more?) bands that co-workers have formed use this trick to get themselves listed faster than most bar bands. I have no idea if this helps their sales at all ( ... )
