Blake continues his work because, obviously, not everything in this world can be solved by a liberal application of magic. He usually works gamma shift, so that there's less people about. This is for his own thoughts, and for when occasionally Loki visits ( Read more... )

Leonard and Jim had been discussing where to go for Olivia's delivery. They were down to two major choices - Starbase Nine or the Vulcan colony of Sha-kwai. There were pros and cons for both places, though both men seemed to have their preferences.

He'd left some information on the local drive of his computer, so even though it was late, Leonard headed toward his office late one evening so that he could explain his rationale for choosing Starbase Nine. However, as the doors to sickbay opened, his forward motion was halted by the sight in front of him.

Blake and Loki - was Loki even still on board? But more than that - the two of them were kissing each other passionately, familiarly, holding each other in a way that suggested that the were more to each other than just brothers.

Loki heard the hiss of the door, felt the push of Thor's hand against his shoulder, but he didn't back off like his brother wanted him to. No, instead, he turned slow to face Leonard, keeping Thor cornered up against the biobed and letting him enjoy the close press of their bodies. Loki's not in the mood for chastity.

"Did you need something, Doctor?" he asks, calm, and when Thor grabs at his hip to push him forward, Loki pushes back while his hand fixes on Thor's wrist, stopping short of simply grinding against him, aware of the possible obscenity of the display. "Shouldn't you be in bed with your dear husband?"

Loki was enjoying this, Leonard could tell. Blake had the grace to at least look uncomfortable, even if he wasn't trying too hard to get away. "I was heading to my office," he replied, not sure why he felt the need to explain his actions to this person. He patently ignored the question about Jim.

Glancing around at the rest of his staff, he barked out, "Don't you people have anything better to do than watch this?" They scattered in all directions, leaving Leonard alone with the two Norse gods. "Everything okay here?" he asked, mostly at Blake, but at this point, it all seemed a little surreal.

"It's fine," Blake replied, finally managing to shove Loki off to the side - he just stumbled and laughed. "I'm sorry that we've caused a scene...it won't happen again." He'd face enough questions as it was already.

"At least not here," Loki interrupted, sidling close again and sitting up on the edge of the biobed. His arm reached around down over Blake's shoulder, fingers splaying across his chest, and Blake made an attempt to push away his arm. "Tell Jim that I'm free to talk, if ever needs some real, experienced sympathies."
