Ghibli princess ballerina

The recent production run of Studio Ghibli films on film4 allowed me to record the lot, and now I'm watching them in chronological order. The Castle of Cagliostro (1979) is an entertaining slapstick piece, involving counterfeit money, and evil Count, a kidnapped princess and a heroic thief. Curiously, in the Japanese film title it's usually transliterated as "Naushika".

Oh, and, his obsession with flying as evinced in Nausicaa is even stronger than that with princesses...
