Pull a Pullman?
In amongst all the rubbish contained in my termly Jesus College email was an opportunity to discuss His Dark Materials with Philip Pullman on the radio.
I quote: "In November, the Harper Room in Jesus College is being used as a venue to record the BBC World Service monthly programme 'World Book Club'. The guest is Philip Pullman and he and the audience will be discussing his trilogy of books, 'His Dark Materials'. I assume this opportunity is open to anyone, and thought the Oxonian literati amongst my friends might be interested.
Edit: Looks like it's an 'invited studio audience'. So why do they tell me these things?
