Further thoughts on "HPDH"

Yeah, you know, my position hasn't changed much after the first 24 hours either. I haven't gone and read too many essays about the title, admittedly. But I'm still reasonably happy about my guess after the first day of pondering.

I'm still thinking "sacred objects" -- though "sacred" in the JKR-verse is probably not overtly religious, but related to the soul or spirit. Relics of the Founders is my take, magical in their own right with Voldemort trying to claim and possess them all and their powers.

And I agree in the "pertaining to death" definition -- this is what I thought from the very beginning. "Deadly" would be a little too melodramatic and action-moviesque, IMO.

Note: Until a consensus develops otherwise, am supporting reference to Book 7 as "HPDH," to reduce risks of ambiguity.)

I am far, far too systematic (you may read that as "anal") to call it anything but DH. I didn't put an HP in front of the other 6, I can't start now! :)
