OotP movie notes

The last few months have been probably my busiest since my last semester of grad school (when I was working two jobs, one with a long commute, and trying to finish a thesis, all at the same time). This year hasn't been that bad, but it has still been a challenge. ( What I've Been Doing Recently )

I'll be praying for you on your trip to Albania! Is it the Sturms you'll be working with?

Thanks, Rebecca! It's actually Ron Y. who will be my host, although I think the plan is for us to visit the Sturms for an evening at the end of the trip.

My traveling partner is Tom N. (from the "Other Areas" section of your handbook); he's a friend of mine from my college days in Califonia, and was my host when I visited the Middle East on my previous travels. Tom is friends with the Youngs and Sturms; the way this trip worked out was that Ron invited Tom to speak at his church's camp, and Tom asked Ron if he could invite me along to share the teaching load with him.

That's fantastic -- I hope you have a really wonderful, profitable time. And a safe one, too!

You know, it is kind of strange that you posted today because *last night* I thought to myself, "I wonder what the Doc is up to these days and what he thinks is going to happen in book seven." It was REALLY weird to see you at the top of my f-list when I opened it this morning. I guess I had figured since you had sounded off on a few things on your journal before HBP came out that I was missing something!

I should be teaching Divination instead of second grade. ;-)

Good to hear from you Dr. C! I still am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that you'll be out of the country on July 21! I have some family and friends who are out of the country now, and at least one of them hopes to pick up DH at Heathrow on their way home!

Yeah... I'm hoping to see how much of it I can read on the Rome to Frankfurt leg of the return journey. (I figure any self-respecting major airport in a European capital city should have a copy for sale somewhere, even if their native language isn't English....)

"Don't worry, I promise not to let Peter Pettigrew take me anywhere to meet Lord Voldemort . . ."

Of course no one ever intends for such things to happen, but keep your wand handy, just in case. ;-)
