So I'm quickly falling uber in love with art. I love all my classes to bits and have become crazy for this art universe and all the sights it has to offer. I'm beginning to think that I might enjoy making gallery art. Bryan (MY BOYFRIEND) says that there are a lot of pretentious people in the art world, but that doesn't mean that they can turn me.

I get what you're saying about art. It's the same with literature for me - literary criticism mostly seems to be about figuring out what the big MESSAGE of any work is, whereas I prefer to see stories as just that; stories. To me, real literature = the art of storytelling. For you it's just visual instead of the written word, but same focus.

DO IT. I must see pikshas of this sculpture.

You guys would get along. He's an odd duck (<3) like me and he is a literature major...It's like he were the awesome combination of our excellence.

Maybe he likes art because it is like literature only visual. HE LIKES MAH ART! <3
