Well, I hate to say "I told you so" but I didn't so you're fine. There's no need to be so hard on yourself: he's a Douchebag. He was never worth the effort in the first place. Don't you just love his little Dungeons and Dragons vocabulary? "Pathetic ignorant mortal fools" and all that...
