There is an Asterix comic in which he and Obelix go to Britain, where they are met with Asterix' cousin. Everyone in Britain is prim and proper and drink boiled water, up until the cousin takes Asterix and Obelix to a football game. Then, everyone but the flabbergasted Gauls start jumping up and down and cheer at the players
