Well my radio show was a bit of a shambles, what with me being a bottle of wine down and not really having a clue what buttons to press on the console, but I am well happy with the format, and I think I might do one of these fashionable 'podcasts' - stitch it together on home studio, so there can be a bit more structure on it rather than just ( Read more... )

That one's actually purple, but they all change colour in the bath, I think that one goes sky blue. When you take them out and they start unevenly changing back, they look like angry bruises in duck form.

Widgeon. Muscovy. Teal. Mandarin. And they make a nice noise and walk in an amusing way. Not like bastard geese. If only they weren't such avian sex criminals they'd be perfect.

Mallard is a lovely word too.

I have to disagree about geese though. They are marvellous creatures, especially when roasted at 180C.
