Yes! I hate it when fic writers have Carson (or, on SG-1, Janet Frasier) giving patients unnecessary shots or other medical procedures for revenge. They wouldn't do that.

Carson would totally allow someone to think that he would, however!

I remember that M*A*S*H* episode too!

I know. It bugs me, too. I wish I could say that it absolutely never happens in real life, but I have seen unnecessary Foley catheters being put into drunks who pissed the nurses off (no pun intended) in the emergency room.
