Faerie Tales

I have my certificate of analysis for the absinth. It has been faxed to FoodStandards. Within a week I will have an importers permit. This is valid for not just one bottle, but many. I can't sell them without a liquor licence, but if anyone wants a bottle drop me a line...

that would require an exporters permit and a liquor licence... big $$ in that one. How rich are you feeling?

The current one is Sebor. By all accounts THE best. Maximum thujone content for absinth in Australia and the EU is 10 mg/kg. Sebor has 9.9 mg/kg. I've only once tried it, but it was like silk. Green Faerie just doesn't hold a candle to it.

Can happily get you a bottle, but my 1.5L bottle cost $350. And they may try to charge me duty. www.seborabsinth.com has the lowdown.

If you're really nice I might invite you round to sample some, seeing as you have an artistic connection to the drink.
