This looks like a pretty sobering and good article about the fresh water consequences of global climate change. In short, it sucks to be you if you rely on the Colorado river for water.
I actually get kind of annoyed with the 'rising sea levels' part of the global warming argument. Yes it will have a real impact, but people just seem to make a joke of it "oh what, the sea level will go up 10 feet, big deal". Mostly from folks who don't live on the beach - which is a lot of Americans.
It distracts from the true, varied, dangers - one of them being potable water. I think a lot of folks think the water problem will only effect people living in the desert. Oh, except we built some CITIES in deserts. Oops ;)
