::aiba voice:: YOU ARE CRAZY!
And indeed I am. Last night I had the strangest dream about like....a scenario that is POSSIBLE IRL but HIGHLY unlikely. This is what I get for staying up late looking for torrents for things Arashi members have been in. (I WILL SEE AIBA ACT, COME HELL OR HIGH WATER!) But yeah this is REALLY cracked out fandom so read at your own risk.
After being in JET for a while, Amy and I somehow figure out how to get Arashi tickets. Actually I'm pretty sure in the dream I gave one of my students the money to buy them for us, which actually isn't a bad idea. So we're going to their 10 year anniversary concert tour in Tokyo....because it's cool n' stuff. And we`re all decked out in our cool Tokyo-wear....because Amy and I would totally do that...like pick out specific "Arashi Outfits" and wear them to the concert. I don't remember what they were, but I WISH I did. I just remember we looked cool and hawt....and that Amy was wearing a skirt and I was wearing jeans....for some reason in my mind, that's the main difference between Amy's and my wardrobe I guess. Oh, subconcious, lulz. So yeah we go into the stadium/dome/whatever and I can't understand the tickets, so we go over to an usher guy and ask. And he`s like....WOAH you're in the wrong place! These are for the front row!!! And I was like.... ::soul momentarily leaves body:: "Excuse me? That can't be right!" But it WAS! We were FRONT ROW CENTER STAGE and I was like yeah okay wtf this isn't happening, I must've been hit by a train on the way here or something. But no. It was AWESOME.
After singing along to a rousing chorus of A.Ra.Shi. (Arashi! Arashi! For DREAM!....best lyric evar.) to start the concert off right, we noticed that we were the only gaijin in the vicinity....plus being dead center, we stood out. Amy and I shared a look and immediately decided to use this fact to our advantage. So of course we start screaming ridiculous things in English (and Engrish, lol) to try and get their attention like when they weren't dancing and stuff. Again, since this was a DREAM, it totally worked. At first they were a bit disturbed by it (lol the typical Japanese reaction to gaijin surprise!) but then they were like coming to to the front of the stage and giving us high fives and MatsuJun threw his hat at Amy at the end of one of the numbers, which she instantly tucked away in her bag to protect it from other rabid MatsuJun fangirls around us. Amy's NOT a rabid fan per se....but she thinks he's mega-hot (who doesn't?) so guarding it was a good call, lol. Predictably, I was focused on Aiba the WHOLE time. He IS Masaki desu kara~ For his part, he kept winking and making stupid faces at us, which is SO what he would do, and that is precisely why I love him. Nino seemed amused and Ohno and Sho seemed pissed that we were being distracting to the other members, oh Riidah, don't be pissy.
So anyway this goes on for a while. You know...like a concert length, lol. And there`s an encore of "Kaze no Mukou he" even though that was not my fav they`ve ever done....but it's one of the newest so makes sense. And Ames and I were in a completely cracked out good mood but kinda sad that it was over, but as they leave the stage and we start filing out, there's a guy in a suit waiting at the end of our row. At first, I was like "Nuuuu, they're back for MatuJun's hat!!!!" but no. The guy was like..."Hey Arashi thinks you guys are hilarious, they wanna know if you wanna chill backstage for a bit?" (Yes, he said chill, lol.) At this point I was acting like I was on speed so I quickly accepted.
OMFG THEN WE MET THEM. IT. WAS. THE. SHIT. Not only was it cool to meet them, but it was great to see how they interacted with each other offstage. It totally wasn't fake or anything. Also, we got into their dressing room lounge....thingy....and Aiba was drinking LUCKY CIDER LMAO I ABOUT DIED. AS if Arashi didn't have a gay enough image already. RAINBOW!DOLPHIN!KIRA*KIRA*SPARKLE FTW! But the best part is yet to come. I'm hanging out with Sho-chan and Masaki (desu) and accross the room I see Amy being hit on by Ohno!!!! RIIDAH RIKES DA AMY-CHAN! And the look on her face is totally like....dude, you're hot but totally the most boring one, but hot, I don't know what to do.
And then from the snack bar (yes, there was one) JunJun is like...Riidah, stop bullying Nino, you know that girl is his CHO-TAIPU! And Nino like whips his head around to look at Jun and his face is like BRIGHT RED. And I'm thinkin' oooh, this is gettin' good. (this is where it really starts leaving the realm or reality...as if it hadn't already...but I mean that Johnny doesn't like Arashi being around teh ladeez.) Regardless, Ohno, being the sasuga riidah that he is, was like...sorry Nino, she`s all yours. And both Amy and Nino are like wtf? Can this GET any more embarassing? And then from the couch (seated: Aiba, me, Sho) comes the chanting of "RA-BU! RA-BU! RA-BU!" over and over again. (Yeah I'm mean to Amy sometimes.) So then they start looking even more awkward and Aiba and I start giggling like maniacs, as we are both prone to do. But then MatsuJun is like....Hey Masaki, you think it's so funny, why don't you show him how it's done, and like wiggles his eyebrows in my direction. And I'm like oh lawdy. And I turn back around and Aiba's all'a sudden got a serious look in his face...which is IN my face, where it had not previously been. Cue spellbound Meg-chan. And he's all like "Mai SWEETO HANII...ore to tsukiyatte kure.." And before I realize he's joking, I"m like "H-hai." and Ohno and Jun start laughing outright and being like, don't be so serious! It was just a joke! And I'm like ::ochikomu::
But on a positive note, it took the pressure off Amy and Nino....and he gets her a drink and they talk for pretty much the rest of the night (JEALOUS! I WANTED ME SOME NINO TALKIN' TIME TOO!!!) Also, I saw him put his hand on hers! Amy and Kazunari, sittin' in a tree....
Aibaka at least did seem to feel a bit bad for inadvertantly seducing me...since he still spent all night chillin' and talking to me along with the other 3 members. Yeah somehow this turned into Amy's fantasy and just like a hella good time for me, but whatever. It was awesome nonetheless and they invited us to go on tour with them. So of course we were both like HELL YES! (forgets about JET and all responsibility, lulz.)
Oh, and Aiba gave me a stuffed animal puppy when I left. KAWAII~
So yeah, thanks for bearing with all that mess. I'm extremely bored today at work because it's the midterm exams. I am so bummed that teachers have to stay the whole day even though the students don't. Suck. BUT! I did get a HUGE package delivered to the school for me (the mailman just knows to bring stuff here by now, he's awesome and my new BFF) and it's full of my winter clothes AND KHI&II AND probably Nyquill, though it's not written on there. Smart parents, since it's illegal here. Lol, I'm in posession of illegal drugs. That's awesome.
