Actually, I misread it at first and thought "What? No way. Nothing about Dr. Horrible is like Thor's general macismo, and Captain Hammer? As Loki? Eh, I guess maybe, but it's a very far stretch... I mean, Hammer's not all that bright and Loki definitely is. Maybe if it was reversed, and... oh. Oh! ... OHHHH!"
and he actually learns from his mistakes and has the dignity and humility to admit when he was wrong and ask for forgiveness. Plus, he's willing to step aside and let other people be the hero,when he knows he's not the one best suited to stop the bad guy, because he's learned that it's more important to save people, than to be 'the big man'.

Well he does have a hammer, of course it's not as literal as Thor's.
