i think my biggest concern for his reasoning is that sometimes it doesn't feel good to learn from God. Sometimes...many times... it is hard to be a Christian, it is HARD to follow the truth and do what's right. Sometimes we must go against what brings us pleasure to pursue the Lord, even if what gives us pleasure isn't bad, it just isnt the best. the points he uses to pursuade people seem like they may bring interest to new believers and may initially bring people to faith on the false pretense that if you simply believe all happiness follows. when the first storm comes, i can see many fall away.

i think it is a good reminder, however, to find joy in the Lord. too often we forget to do that. what he has done for us IS something to find joy in.
