Does anyone still read people's journals?

Not sure if anyone does but I felt like venting so I figured I'd do it here. My mother came by for the week-end, that was fun. We spent 2 days just chillin' we talked a lot on Saturday night, I asked about her parents and stuff. Apparently, my grand-pa and grand-ma met in Normandy before WW2. Moving to Montreal would certainly tie you closer to your mother, so that's a big plus, even as she gets older and you want to reconnect more with her..

Europe? Why not start in France/Paris and see where that leads? You already know the language, and they've got awesome healthcare/vacations in Europe, so perhaps try that before you get too settled..

I'm in the same position lifewise as you, discontent but wanting to do something about it - it's good that you're venting and considering your options.. :)
