Liz read the email with blurry eyes. She was just finishing a double shift and she could barely think straight. She yawned. Danny was actually emailing her about opera tickets? And a killer opera at that. Wow. She wasn’t about to pass that up. Hitting “Reply” without giving the “To” line any mind, she began an email back.

The opera sounds great. Which one, exactly? I’m impressed that you’re becoming more appreciative of the arts and that you’re actually going to get away from Major Case for a night.

At the 1-6, Cragen’s eyes widened in surprise. A short time later, Liz received an email she wouldn’t read until the next day when she returned to work.
