That's not a bad idea, MacGregor. Last thing we need if for plans for the jumpers to get back to the Genii. Speaking of, I want each planet we trade with triple checked to ensure they don't trade with the Genii or allies of the Genii so that they don't get their greedy little hands on it. I don't care what Laden's said, I don't trust him further than Miko could throw him.

Well, it makes sense that they made use of the resources in the ocean. I mean, hello! Ocean! Big fish tank! Though I wasn't aware that there'd been any significant marine life signs besides the whales.

You have? Good. I don't want that thing touched with a ten meter pole by anyone other than command staff and even then not without my prior authorization.

Rodney, Miko is a level 3 black belt in four types of martial arts plus she's been training with Teyla and Ronon. She could throw Laden a considerable distance.

Remind me why you are lead scientist again?

Children, please. Can we get back to work here? The fisheries are being examined by the marine biologists, and we're decoding some things down there that indicate how to attract edible species. I imagine it'll take a week or two until we've got them up to full speed.

And I agree with the triple checks against Genii influence. I would also recommend we make sure the planets involved don't trade with each other, as well.

And yes, Miko has hidden skills. After all, who gave you that book as a wedding present, hm? Did you think she managed to order that and get it from earth in the 3 days between announcement and actual ceremony?
