John stood in the doorway to the second bedroom, a tiny onesie lying flat across one hand, a set of tiny infant socks stuck on the fingers of the other hand. The blanket with the sailboats lay across his shoulder. He grinned widely at Rachel and wiggled the babysocked fingers at Rachel, making no move to enter the room, so enamoured was he of the tiny clothes.

"I don't want to alarm you, but I think a baby store exploded in the living room..and.."

he glanced around, eyes settling on the still-unopened crates and the newly put-together stroller and bouncy seat. "..apparently in here too. Let me guess..you've been shopping!.

He held the tiny onesie up by the shoulders, pinching it between thumb and forefinger, and eyeing it speculatively. "God, tell me our baby's not going to be this tiny..that's....unreal.

Rae's eyes sparkled to see how much fun he was having with this. Apparently, he adored the blanket enought to not let go of it. She giggled before crawling off the bed. She giggled when he put the onesie against her tummy. The item of clothing looked small against the carrier, but felt large compared to her not-yet-ballooning belly. John pulled her close, and her head automatically went to the side. She grinned when she realized this position allowed her to both hug him, and sort of see into the carrier. A soft hum came from her throat at the thought of having each of her husbands hold her and the baby like this. She looked up when he spoke, nodding in agreement.

"I've been thinking that too.. It's not personal enough, otherwise..." She thought hard, tipping her head back to look at the ceiling... A look came into her eyes as she saw all the model airplanes and glow-in-the-dark stars... Rae looked back at John and tried not to smirk. "How about our little zoomie?"
