There's times when Magnus realizes the last time she saw her own daughter was during a business briefing. As she's walking down the corridor and happens to be headed in the direction of Ashley's room, that thought strikes her and, after a slight hesitation, moves towards her daughter's door

"Yeh?" Ashley's voice rings out from inside her room.

Magnus gently opens the door and smiles. "Ashley."

Ashley looks up from her chair at the door, smiling as she greets her mother, "Hey, Mom."

As she sits, Ashley is unwrapping the supports on her hands, her hair is tied up in a messy bun and sweat lightly covers her skin.

She smiles and steps in. "I didn't mean to interrupt your afternoon workout. Was just passing by and thought I'd check in on you."
