Nowaki really respects Robin. She's smart and mature and handles Hiro well. She also agrees with him that he is cute!! These are all good things! He doesn't know much about her beyond 1) she grows body parts and 2) she is an archeologist who works with pirates. But he likes what he does know!
Nowaki is Professor Grumpy's most valuable person, so she was expecting someone special. AND NOWAKI IS SUPER SPECIAL. She thinks Hiroki really needs someone exactly like Nowaki. Also, they can tease him together forever, A++
After finding out that Crow lives in the same building as him, he's moved from "that robot I got stuck to" to "neighbor". It is a step up! /o/ He would like to get to know him better, as he thinks he is funny and (in part because he is a space-traveling robot) interesting. Nowaki will definitely keep an eye out for him around the hotel, now.
Kida pings Nowaki in a couple of different ways. He's still young enough for Nowaki to automatically feel some sense of responsibility towards him (which that flower thing just helped to reinforce) and he's just so loud and bratty (this is Hiro's terminology, not his). It's amazing. He loves it. xD And playing them off of each other always makes me laugh. ♥
I am pretty sure I mentioned before that Nowaki reminds Kida a LOT of Mikado, mostly with that seemingly innocent/naive personality he has. That's made Kida warm up to him a lot; he's someone fun to tease who won't try to strangle him for teasing him.
At the same time there is something kind of Adult about Nowaki that Kida likes. He's got this comforting Zen to him that Kida just wants to huddle in sometimes because it's the only zen he's ever gotten from an adult. loev giant nowaki-bear
Um, so like with anyone who Hiro likes or who takes care of him in their own way, Mikage started off with some bonus points to his name. Apart from that, Nowaki likes Mikage anyway! He likes how buoyant and energetic he is. :D Also that he is a baby dragon?! Also that he is apparently in a gay marriage?! THERE IS SO MUCH CONFUSION AND NEED TO KNOW MORE.
Nowaki already had bonus points with Mikage for being Hiro's boyfriend, with a few extra for "you are SUPER CHEERY with a grumpy boyfriend! so am I!". And then there's all the awesome stuff of being nice~ and friendly~ and a pediatric nurse~ Nowaki is pretty much just awesome to hang around and is a GOOD ROLE MODEL. He is going to pester you forever.
I THINK WE KNOW EVERYTHING LOL but camp-wise. Hiro is super, super relieved to have Nowaki back after all those months without him. He was constantly stressed and worried then and it's... Nice to not feel that way inside all the time. Plus he tends to go off in elaborate hair-brained fantasies about what Nowaki might be thinking or planning without him. |D It's much better to have him here, and it's actually really nice to be able to spend a lot of time with him, since they're both not working as much. There's also the gay marriage thing, just as a concept - that's been rolling around in his head a lot, as much as he'd have to say about being anybody's blushing bride.
Oh and now that Nowaki's here Hiro kind of hates the sex rule a lot. A lot a lot. HE WOULD NEVER ADMIT THIS. But he does.
Anyway! How does Nowaki feel about camp? And just how quickly are we going to get animal'd when he gives up the letter? :P
Nowaki likes camp because Hiro and many nice people and more free time but hates the no sex rule because GOD WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THAT?? HONESTLY. So much frustration at that. He, uh. He is very curious about just what exactly is allowed under it. Like, what if Hiro's naked but he doesn't touch? Is that okay??
...Aaaanyway. >_> Like I said, apart from that he likes camp. You're right in that it's like a vacation for them! :D Although Hiro's still reading a lot and he's still helping in the hospital, their schedules are really a lot more flexible and they can just kind of follow each other around and be adorable together. ♥ And if whatever midwest state they're in legalized gay marriage while they're there by some amazing twist of fate, he would propose in a heartbeat. They're pretty much married already anyway. xD;
And depends on what the letter says--anywhere from before he finishes reading it to less than three minutes after. Very quickly, either way! He is super excited to be receiving it sometime in the near future. :)
