UNICEF report earlier this year showed that the children of northern European nations, and Czechslovakia, were much happier than those in other economically advanced countries. UK, USA, and France have much more money and lurked at the bottom of the list on all counts for happiness, education and material well-being. (Currently writing essay on child survival, that's how come I know.)

Looking at that article it's not really hard to see why.

Every time I read something about Finland's society and people, it makes me want to live there because they are pretty much awesome.

Supporters of the Greens and the National Coalition Party were at the other extreme.

Interesting. In australia the Greens are pretty left I wonder if that is the case in finland.
