Well, I have a gate on my door - since I got burgled. It's great though coz in summer I can leave the door open and not have to worry about anybody trying to sneak in.

I was brought up in Halifax and that can be bad on a night. Apparently, it was once rated in the top 5 places to avoid on a Saturday night because there's so many pubs in a small area.

In Leeds, I've never seen anything like this bloke describes.

Thankfully neither have I. Although there's a definite hint of chav activity round our local shop, and certainly in 'toon' on a Saturday night (especially when out early on the way to BV!)

I manage to miss them on my way to BV because I walk down the back way past the Cockpit and Malmaison.
