I've gotta admit, I feel a little sorry for Joe. He just wanted to ask a dishonest "gotcha" question and have his little 3 seconds of glory. Now it looks like his life is going to be turned upside down and he's likely to be getting a lot of unwanted attention. I really think that every time someone says "not a licensed plumber" his boss must wince in pain from the lost revenue. I know a lot of guys like this, sort of dicks, but not really bad guys. I don't think he deserved all this.
Y'know, I have no feelings one way or another for Joe. He is a private citizen with a public business. You play David to a Goliath, you're gonna gather a crowd - but I don't think Joe was counting on McCain taking his story national.
