i wanna be that guy. the one who makes a creative move, a book, a movie whatever, risks everything and either comes out ahead or doesn't but at least he took that risk. when am i going to be that "guy." when am i going to have the time, courage, money and willpower, and i suppose the balls, since, well, is there a woman version of lucas, ( Read more... )

1. possibly women
2. i just knew him, but i was close to his sister and to her parents so that was really sad for them. his death was tragic and sudden so i think it was worse that way.
3. getting old...old enough to be further along i beleive but everyones got thier own path with different obstacles. some people got marys peak to climb, some people got everest. one just takes longer than the other.
4. i keep hearing that philosophy, the whole journey not destination thing, but having a destination creates the journey so...

it's a thinner field than that even, lucas is a copy-cat hack, as is tarantino. I don't know if fitzy or steinbeck are borrowers, but lee certainly is. I dig you just the way you are youngster, now where are my reading lens'? Unfortunately the odds are stacked against women in arts as I spose anywhere else. But your tough and cute and at least have part of a book. =>
