I couldn't help it. I had to listen to it. AND IT'S FUCKING TERRIBLE. Scarlett Johansson murdered Tom Waits. Most of it reminds me of a part in Twin Peaks where James, Maddy, and Donna record this really bad song in someones living room. Do yourself a favor and don't even listen to it to see how bad it is. It's really that bad.

I even watched a Johansson movie this afternoon to try and improve my reaction to her voice. Didn't work. The most appealing thing about her is that she claims to like Tom Waits. (Or could this be a secret anti-Waits countermeasure?)

Yeah thats one of the main reasons I decided to listen was because in an interview I read it sounded like she really apppreciated his work and for some reason I thought that she might be able to somewhat pull it off cause her voice is a little deep and a little gravely at times. I don't know what I was thinking. By the way I hope the shows you're going to are a blast!
