As I cruise through the interests of my flist and other acquaintances on LJ it always surprises me to see so many overlaps. While I can see the natural association between Horatio fandom and BSG fandom, it's also fun to discover a shared love of Renn faires and dollhouses.  Talking about Psychology has led to Angel discussions and while chatting

I agree, it's wonderful how we can all take a single point of interest, and then have it ripple outwards. Most of my flist are fans of Buffy and Angel; that's what first got me to Livejournal...a migration over from ATPO. Then I started meeting other people here, usually with that thread of interest, and found out I had other stuff in common: gardening, BSG, Farscape, hot guys like David Boreanaz (hear the squeeing after Bones!). It's what I love so much about LJ.

I came to LJ just to read c_mantix's journal. I had no intention of making other friends. Then you happened! I have met some wonderfully interesting people here and I am glad I made the leap into the journal world - although I would have chosen a different name had I known I'd be meeting people. LOL

It astounds me how tiny the world is when doing the internet thing. I can't even remember how we survived without the resources. Even Jacob (our old order Amish friend) has asked us to research and purchase something over the internet for him. LOL
