[Karr] I don't trust KRO any further than he can kick him.
Calvin: It's not an issue of trusting him, it's an issue of knowing what he's capable of, and knowing what he respondes to. Calvin
[Karr] Mmph.
Calvin: I can handle him. I do know just what he's made of.
[Karr] That's supposed to make me feel better?
Calvin: So it's reassurances you want?
[Karr] No.
Calvin: So what's the matter?
[karr] I want you to be careful.
Calvin: In general.
[Karr] *narrows his eyes*
Calvin: I'm asking. Actually, I'm putting an idea together.
[Karr] Do tell.
Almighty Hat: Calvin: It's... perhaps a self-flattering one. You don't want to lose me.
[Karr] Brilliant, Holmes.
Calvin: Which is why I was seeking more supporting data, thank you very much. Someone needs to help that boy, and no one seems inclined to, or able to.
[Karr] *gestures to the gun at his hip* I can help him in about five seconds.
Calvin: *folds her arms* You already know I'm not adverse to giving people a good smack when they're acting stupid, Karr.
[Karr] Not that you're incapable of defending yourself, but KRO can probably bench press his weight or more just like the rest of us. If some little, white haired woman smacked me in the head before I met Aly, the results wouldn't have been pleasant.
Calvin: So Alyson's done a lot of work calming you down, socializing you. Good for her. KRO isn't honestly that much like you, aside from a tendency to growl.
[Karr] *says nothing, but still doesn't look ready to back down*
Calvin: Here I am, Karr, a little old woman. And I did give him the back of my hand to his head. And then I made him think, and then I made him cry. There's hope for him that needn't come out of the muzzle of your gun-- and now, even if he threatened it, I do not believe he would hurt me.
[Karr] *still silent, jaw set*
Calvin: Well?
[Karr] I'm still Not Happy.
Calvin: About which?
[Karr] You provoking KRO without having someone there.
Calvin: He wouldn't have reacted the same way with someone there.
[Karr] So? have them on the other side of a door.
Calvin: I hugged him as well as provoked him, does that bother you, too?
[Karr] No.
Calvin: *considers* Hm.
[Karr] What?
Calvin: Never before has someone suggested I take 'backup' with me when I talk to an AI.
[Karr] *scowls*
Calvin: He's broken, Karr. Can you think of anyone more qualified to try and fix him?
[Karr] Go ahead and try to fix him, but keep one of us close by in case you need help.
Karr!mun: (*snerk* I think they're both at a stand off)
Calvin: If you want to try and stay within earshot, I won't stop you. But if he ends up coming to me on his own, I'm not going to betray his trust in me by stopping to phone for a bodyguard.
[Karr] *growls, teeth bared* Fine, but if you get hurt, you won't get a chance to fix him, because I'll kill him. *turns and walks away*
