I have- well the rift gives people abilities and mine is to create shields force-fields in layman's terms could that be any help with anything?

It's possible. Shields just around you, or can you put up shields separate from yourself?

I- I haven't got that far in my experiments yet I'm afraid, I can extend my shield outwards for about two meters or so but I haven't tried it with any other humans around.
