it doesn't have abything to do with student cards, unless you get a special student one. i think they're just for high schoolers though...

You know the big posters/boards they have advertising that stuff at the top of the traino escalators.. I saw a post-it note stuck to one of them saying "BIG BROTHER FASCIST CRAP!"

A post-it note. I loved that. The postmodern graffiti! How many thousands of people would have walked past it and still not have dared taken it off.

i found a post-it note at my train station too! i was at the west leederville when i saw one on a lamp-post that said "have a magical day!"

i took it and stuck it on my wall.

i dont like it
it is going to make me pay for 3zones to uni when i can usually use my trusty 2 zone multirider and transfer to my hearts delight!!!!

its as bad as those damn photocopying cards that deduct some invonvenient amount like 13cents and then when you need to photocopy you have some stupid amount, im rambling. i had wine and le snack for breakfast.

i read somewhere that students get this special "50 cents" fare thats on the basis of time, not distance (i.e. 50c for two hours travel or something).

im not sure how true it is

hey yeah, i never thought what happens if you don't have a smartrider.
i don't think the things are turnstyles? they just have the option of scanning your smartrider as you walk through?

but how crap - what if you just need to use the train once. i presume they would have to be turnstyles of some sort.

what do you mean "use the train once"? how would that effect the ticketing system?
