Reporters always loved Arkham escapes. He wondered if Jane cared about the attention. She had to see it, of course, but did it register in her at all? Or had Jane buried herself so deep in whatever role she'd taken that she felt the same worry other citizens did? He was no psychology student, but that much interested him-- wondering just what it was like in Jane's mind when she was pretending.
A tired-looking Jim Gordon walked into the coffee shop, and the barista made his coffee-- one sugar-- and waved him to the front of the line and handed it over. She shooed him off when he tried to pay her, so he put the money for the coffee in the tip jar. This place had a reputation for taking good care of cops.
He sat across from Audrey and smiled just a bit, knowing how he looked. "You look like Hell."
