(Tune should be obvious.)

"Mikey's ordered a shipment at the MIL-waukee station
For this afternoon at quarter past two;
And flyin' IN the open window here comes Mikey's cable
As the train goes a-rum-b-lin' through!"

(I *may* provide context upon request. Not sure yet.)

The best thing is that I'm describing a situation that did not happen, but would be feasible to set up in real life. Consider the possibility of ordering something from Amazon via smartphone while on Amtrak's Empire Builder train just after departing Chicago or Minneapolis, getting "Amazon Prime Now" shipping and having them deliver to the train when it stops in Milwaukee.

at least you are not trapped on the train! (yes, I know the song!)

I am seriously considering fleshing this out into a four verse filk of the "whole story"... most of which actually did happen. Just not this part. (The method of delivery, I mean, that's what didn't really happen. But my method is Lots More Fun!)
