Wasn't there anything like this last year in France, but 3 times???
Being watched 24/7 is not a pleasant imagination, no matter what one does on the Internet. It's just creepy.
Also, this may be a bit contra-productive, imo, a lot of the people buy much more because they get to know something through fandoms/forums/etc. If there is no sharing, there is no information, and therefore no, or at least significantly less, buyers. Dunno, people who are not willing to buy anything won't be forced by this, I guess.
