There was a distinct lack of any sort response. 'Tarou stared at the girls that had accompanied him and his friends to the karaoke lounge.

"Failure!" The three girls chorused.
"Gennosuke-kun's voice is too high to mesh well with 'Tarou and Seiji-kun's." Sadako said.
"I'm sure his voice will be very sexy once it changes." Hanako said, grinning. Ami and Sadako scooted away from her again.
"And...considering 'Tarou was doing back up, that was a rather creepy song you chose, Seiji-kun." Ami said, blushing bright red.
"They said I had to sing. Not like I wanted to sing back up to a song like that when my sister was going to hear it!" 'Tarou muttered, almost blushing as brightly as his sister. "I will be happy if I never hear 'Valentine Kiss' again." He muttered, wishing he could hide and maybe die.
