"In a good way," Rich adds hurriedly, brushing her hair. "You're always there for me. I can fall, and I know you'll be there to catch me before anything can hit me. You're my rock. You keep me safe, keep me protected, and I don't have to worry about a thing when we're together because I know you've got me, babe."
Dana sighs. There's so much about what he's just said that others would think wrong, but it's so completely them. She kisses him.
