First of all, this was incredible. The symbolism, the lines about the savagery of divination... YES!! Also, I love love where you took this prompt. I also love the contrast of the symbolism mixed with the very tangible element of taste.

I kind of love taking prompts that lend themselves really well to fluff and domesticity in a different direction, because it's a bit of a challenge, and I usually have a hard time writing... well, pretty much anything... but this one just sort of came to me, and I've been wanting to try writing about Reeve and divination forever.
