Oh honey. I really thought Spencer would be angrier, but I think emotions play themselves out differently in each of us. Beautiful job as always...but still nervous about Foyets return...

I honestly meant for Spencer to be much angrier and for there to be a lot of cold-shouldering, but the character in my mind just can't hold that much anger in him, not towards someone he loves. He's a bit too forgiving for his own good. Thank you as always and I hope Foyet's return doesn't disappoint. :)

I totally agree in regards to Spencer's response. I thought about it alot last night and I think you were right on the money. When you love someone as passionately and completely as he loves Aaron, there is no other answer than what he did. He WAS angry, and he knew that being submissive was not easy for Aaron. I think it was his way of feeling in control of the relationship that betrayed him many times over. I do think he believes Aaron is sincere, but I remember my first love and the subequent heartache that followed. Although it tore me in half--I would have taken his lying, cheating ass back in a heartbeat. It'll be a long road to recovery but I know you 3 are up for the task. <3

I honestly can't ever pic Hotch as anything but dom in the relationship and too see him not and Reid as the 'top', so to speak, is just weird but at least you updated.

I love playing with top/sub relationships and exploring all the nuances there, like how subs have a power all their own like Spencer does to control and support Aaron. He supports Aaron quietly with his own kind of strength and in return gets to belong to Aaron and feel safe that way. But then anger and strife can completely flip the balance. They aren't out of the woods yet, though.
