Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod. As soon as they decided to go on a date, I knew what was going to happen. But your writing's so good, knowing what was coming didn't in any way diminish my reaction - strengthened it, actually. It's just like an episode of CM - you're yelling for the blissfully unaware soon-to-be victims to just please, turn around already!, while you watch the bad guy slink out of the shadows two feet behind them. UGH.
And of course Foyet waits until they're fully reconciled. Oh. Mygod.
