I think it was a pretty genius move but she scares me so I'm voting against McCain. I don't know if I'll be voting *for* anyone (haven't checked out the lib./indep. candidates) but this pretty much seals the Obama deal, even if she is pretty hot for a politician.

I hate voting against anyone, I really do I'd much rather vote for someone, but even if I didn't like Obama, which I do, I would have to vote for him now because you're right that it scares the crap out of me that Palin might be one heart attack or stroke away from being president! I actually like McCain as a person, though not as a president, and I think this campaign he's been running is stupid beyond belief since it makes him look like an urber conservative, which he's not.

You can't tell me McCain couldn't find a social conservative in the Republican party somewhere that has way more experience than this chick does, though probably not another woman. Either way she was picked as a political ploy because she's a woman and now Obama can't even attack McCain on that because he said in his speech Thursday night that neither him or McCain were making decisions based on purely political reasons. (scoffs) Yeah right. I'd hate to think of Palin one heart-attack or stroke away from being president with no international, or even national, political experience. I can only pray some of McCain supporters see that too.

As for women who were voting for Hillary just because she was a woman, McCain can have them. I don't want someone that stupid in my party anyway. That's as bad voting for Obama just because he's black (well half black anyway).
