Well, time for something like an update. I am spending a few days at my parent's place in Norwich before I go back to the cottage. I found out that a thing I need for my visa can only be done at the end of this month so I will be late for school when I get over to London. That also assumes that the school will wait for me. :P ( Read more... )

Job hunting has never been my favorite part of the deal... I always felt like I was being put under a microscope and under intense scrutiny every time. Then again, considering our respective ages, they always expect a lot worse out of my age.

And I can understand the "get up and go" versus the planning carefully. Despite my ability to take a match and turn it into a bonfire, I do enjoy occasionally letting things roll. This, however, never sets well with the folks, who live a completely different time schedule as well. I'd just let it slide as is. Comments can be like drops of water in a river, never staying in one place for very long.

All I can say is....take a lot of photos. I wanna see the castles you come across. =)

For some reason your posts dropped off my regular 'friends' spew that I scroll through a couple times a day so I've missed a few entries. Whatcha doing, say, in the next week or so? I'm hoping [crosses toes] that I'll get to the end of my mountain of work and can actually take a day or two or three off; maybe even a week day as well as a weekend (I have hours accumulated on July 4 that I can take when I get a spare second). Haven't seen you in, like, forever and now you, like my buddy Carol, are heading across the pond.
Laptops can be fun - I have one now (not new but gently abused by greg) as well as a new tower; gotta spend the OT money on something fun occasionally.

Next week I am just doing chores and planning for the trip. I will actually be down in Syracuse tomorrow to get some data taken for my visa. Perhaps I shall swing by briefly after the evening rush has gone by.

Cool.
I will endeavor to get out of work at an early hour, like say 'no' and drop everything at 4:30 like I do on Fridays! Call me, 456-8250 or just show up. You know where I am - that much hasn't changed.
