Just read Patricia Briggs's new book Hunting Ground. Twas wonderful!!! I love Anna. And I love Charles. And I love a Romance that explores a marriage as it grows and paints an accurate portrait of a victim of sexual abuse and you know what? It makes me happy

Ehe, my TBR is almost as embarrassing ;) I just like getting books out asap. I'm liable to forget otherwise!

Probably. I just started dragging myself through the Kenyon.

I'm probably really done with this Author. Seriously. Her paranormals are all running together in my head. People need to save the world. Need angsty, tortured hero. Hero is a douchebag with a heart of gold. Hero decides he's entranced by the Heroine's magic 'Hoo-Hoo'. Through a predictable twist of fate, they end up triumphant.

I love paranormals...but the Dark-Hunter series is getting redundant. I still like Kenyon as an Author. I feel like she really works hard on her books. I don't blame her for losing sight of the ending in this series...but I do feel like it needs to either end and she needs to do something new and different, or that she needs to revamp it. Perhaps that's what the 'Dream-Hunter' books are about...but really, its too much like a clone of the others.

I never get tired of Krentz though. Or maybe, I'm just not tired of it...yet. ^_^

Oh good, so I'm not the only one dragging myself through her books. I'm really done, myself. She gets on my nerves for all those reasons you listed, plus her storytelling tries too hard to be kickass that it ends up being totally cliché. Okay, they all wear leather, woohoo for hot. They're all ripped and tortured. Believe me, I love tortured heroes (hello Z from BDB) but hers are freaking wimps. Boohoo my life sucks I wanna die no one likes me.

/rant. So yeah. I'm done with her. And Kinley MacGregor. Same old, all the time.

Krentz always writes fresh stuff :) I'm not really into her Amanda Quick novels (don't know why really) but the suspense aspects in them are nice.
