Oh Luna is ever so serene and ethereal, and within her warped logic is a sense of comfort, strangely enough. Love the irony of how Draco appeared vulnerable in her presence, yet felt a strong desire to protect her. This piece made me sigh (in a good way!) (:

Thank you! The way they are looking at each other in mayfly_78's artwork, like they are sharing something only the two of them can sense, was very inspirational! I had never written this pairing before, but found that it has a very pleasing dynamic!

Thank you for choosing this piece! I'm pining for more Draco/Luna fics, and I'm so glad you gave it a go!

I loved what you did with them, you write them so convincingly and yet in such a way as to make the pairing feel more than possible. Poor Draco, you really made my heart go out for him! Luna seems just what he needs! Now I really want to know what happens in this reality when Luna gets imprisonned in the Manor...

I really liked the fic's quirkiness too, it matched Luna so perfectly. Draco prepared to believe the strangest things just so he could gain some hope. And in the end the ritual was never exactly proved or disproved, just in the way Luna's beliefs are never proved or disproved conclusively. Because that's not the point!

Thank you!

mayfly-78, I enjoyed the art and the way they glanced at each other.

"Maybe...maybe you should kiss me," she told him. "Perhaps direct contact with someone wearing dirigible plums would transfer a portion of their power. Then you'd be able to see...what you need to see."

mister_otter, this was a lovely line. I enjoyed the story.

I really liked the idea that Draco would use the ritual to try to find out whether he had any future at all, I liked that it involved blood and tears, and I loved the way Luna asked him to kiss her so that the plums might work for him...
