Ah, lovely... a turning point in the history of Númenor. It makes sense that such a change as described here would happen or at least start during a succession war. Trying out a new god just in case he'll bring victory is a known phenomenon, after all. It also works well as an explanation for the official shift to Adunaic names after Tar Ardamin. And the way you incorporated LCE into Túrions personal motivations was quite clever.
Hiram's description of the Melkor-cult reminded me of Mithras (without the bull) - was this intentional? Mithras was not a Semitic god, but he was definitely a god of soldiers.

BTW, did you ever give an explanation for the fact why not all the 'records' mention Tar Ardamin/Ar Abattarik (with circonflex) as a King of Númenor?

"Westernesse" was what I originally wrote instead of "Andúnië"; apparently I changed it online but not in the original document for some reason...
